Lois Muriel Emery, 76, a former Cozad, Nebraska, resident died at Papillion, Nebraska, Wednesday, March 7th, 2012.

She was born at Cozad, on March 21st, 1935, the daughter of Ovol and Ethel Collamore.

She attended the Cozad Public Schools and graduated from CHS with the Class of 1953. She married William Emery on August 15th, 1954, at Cozad.

Survivors include her husband, William of Walnut, Iowa; daughter, Ana Sheets-Knople of Walnut; son, Thomas (Sue) Emery of Omaha, Nebraska; two grandchildren; one great-grandson and one great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Shirley Callamore; son-in-law, Larry Knople and daughter, Lisa Jane Emery.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

The Midlands Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association has been designated as the memorial.
