Cozad City Council Discusses Partial Funding For Ryde Transit
The Cozad City Council met for a regular meeting on Monday evening.
Charles McGraw, Community Action Partnership of Mid Nebraska RYDE Transit presented a proposal to council members to request funding for this service provided to Cozad residents.
Presently RYDE Transit provides transportation in the Cozad Area on Wednesdays from 8:00 a.m. until noon and on Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Council members verbally agreed to a commitment of $1,000.00 per year to subsidize the continued service. It will be made into a resolution and voted on at the next meeting.
