Among Lorraine's many enjoyments where playing cards with Carl and their friends, playing the piano and organ, entertaining the young children who entered their home, gardening and canning for the family. She and Carlie loved to dance together; they also cherished time spent with friends. Lorraine always loved it when her family would gather in her home, as she loved to entertain and cook big meals. She was a soft spoken, gentle, generous, loving person; yet fun and very witty. Lorraine greeted all who came to see her with a heartfelt smile on her face.
