Ronald R. Crisman, 64, of Gothenburg, Nebraska, died Wednesday, February 1st, 2012, at Brian LGH Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska, with his family by his side.
He was born March 26th, 1947 in Gothenburg, son of Gerald Ross and Waunetta (Donner) Crisman. He grew up in Gothenburg and attended Gothenburg High School.
Ronnie married Linda Kramer on September 30th, 1967, at Stapleton, Nebraska. To this union three children were born: Tammy, Sherri and Rex. Ronnie drove truck as an owner/operator for 40 years.
Ronnie enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with his dogs. Ronnie restored antique cars and tinkered at the shop in his spare time. His favorite past time was watching old westerns.
He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Linda Crisman of Gothenburg; mother, Waunetta Crisman of Gothenburg; two daughters, Tammy (Jeff) Bonifas of Gothenburg; Sherri Crisman Bice (Troy) of Lincoln, Nebraska; son, Rex (Stella) Crisman of Gothenburg; three grandsons, Casey (Tiffany Donner) Newbrey, Adam Newbrey, Cole Crisman; granddaughter, Leslie Potter; two great-granddaughters, Madison and Ellie; great-grandson, Caleb; brother, Kenneth (Kim) Crisman of Gothenburg; two nephews, Jeff Crisman of Denver, Colorado, Josh Crisman of North Platte, Nebraska; three brothers-in-law; six sisters-in-law; along with many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Ronald was preceded in death by father, Gerald Ross Crisman; nephew, Jory Crisman; mother and father-in-law, Leonard and Joy Kramer; two brothers-in-law.
Services were held at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel, February 6th, 2012, at 10 a.m., with Pastor Larry Viter officiating. Interment followed in the Farnam Cemetery, Farnam, Nebraska.
