Richard "Dick" Nichelson, 68, of Cozad, Nebraska, died Tuesday, January 17th, 2012, at his home north of Cozad.

Dick was born January 31st, 1943, at Cozad, Nebraska, to Donald and Eva (McCance) Nichelson. Dick was a graduate of Cozad High School.

Dick was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Don in 2011.

Survivors include his sister, Louise Hamer-Hintz of Yuma, Colorado; half-brother, Raymond (Geri) Groenewold of Farnam, Nebraska; sister-in-law, Sandy Nichelson of Cozad; and many other relatives and friends.

There will be no services conducted, as was his wish.
