Robert “Bob” Kloepping, 62 of Cozad, Nebraska, died April 24th, 2013, at the Golden LivingCenter in Cozad.
Bob was born April 27th, 1950, at Gothenburg, Nebraska, to Wilbur “Doc” and Doris (Schroeder) Kloepping. He attended rural school in the Willow Island area and later graduated from Cozad High School.
In 1975, Bob married Deb Edwards at Cozad. Their union was blessed with two boys, Marcus and Kirk. Bob held many jobs throughout his life, but farming and ranching always remained closest to his heart. In later years, Bob enjoyed working at the Cozad City Schools, where he interacted with many of the teachers and students.
Bob loved football and studying war history, particularly World War II, Vietnam and Korea. He loved to tell stories and make people laugh. Bob also liked travelling and working with horses. He was a member of the Cozad Elks Lodge #2250.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Burrell and Fred; sister-in-law, Maxine; brother-in-law, Larry Beyersdorf; and a nephew, Scott.
Survivors include his two sons, Marcus Kloepping and Kirk Kloepping (Haylae) of Cozad; three sisters, Jann (Dwight) Kloepping of Cozad, Gwen Kloepping and Linda Beyersdorf, both of Denver, Colorado; sister-in-law, Sharon Kloepping of Eustis, Nebraska and many other relatives and friends.

Graveside inurnment services will be held Monday, April 29th, 2013, at 3:30 p.m. at the Buffalo Grove Cemetery.
