Clara N. Boggs, 95, of Lexington, Nebraska, died Monday, March 11th, 2013, at Plum Creek Care Center in Lexington.
Clara was born August 7th, 1917, in Cozad, Nebraska, to Lloyd C. and Emma (Selk) Jolliffe.
She attended school in Cozad and lived her entire life in the Cozad and Lexington areas. Clara was united in marriage to Darrel Boggs on May 15th, 1937, in Norton, Kansas. Four children were blessed to this marriage.
Clara spent seventeen years working at Coast to Coast in Lexington, and eighteen years beautifying the ladies of Lexington by selling Avon.
She was a faithful member of the Berean Bible Church in Lexington. She enjoyed playing cards, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
Clara is survived by her children; son, Frank (Donna) Boggs of Bertrand, Nebraska; daughters, Darla (Melvin) Bye of Overton, Nebraska; Artie (Irl) Smith of Lexington, Nebraska and Linda (Wayne) Maaske of Bertrand, Nebraska; sister, Naomi Patterson of Lexington, Nebraska; 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Darrel; three brothers, Glen, Vernon and Lloyd Jolliffe; two sisters, Mildred Hansen and Marie Lauby; as well as a number of brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Funeral Services will be Friday, March 15th, 2013, at 10 a.m. at the Berean Bible Church in Lexington with Pastor Duane Russell officiating.
Burial will be in the Cozad Cemetery at Cozad, Nebraska.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 14th, 2013, from 5-7 p.m. at the Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington.
Memorials are suggested to the Berean Bible Church or the American Cancer Society.
