Kathleen Joy Meredith, 62, of Gothenburg, Nebraska, died October 22nd, 2012, at her home in Gothenburg.
She was born September 16th, 1950, in Gothenburg, daughter of Edwin "Bud" and Kathryn Joy (Doukas) Lindstedt.
Kathleen was a member of Theta Rho, Girl Scouts, Elks Club, Relay for Life and Nebraska Kidney Association. She enjoyed college, crocheting, reading, computer and spending time with her family. She lived in Kansas, Colorado and Nebraska. Kathleen worked as a cook at Slack's Nursing Home, as a waitress, Monroe's and as a Deli cook at Wal-Mart.
She married Roger Roy Meredith on November 29th, 1990, at Gothenburg.
Survivors include her husband Roger; daughter Angela (James) Bowyer; three sons, Victor (Sandra) Bevard Jr., Joseph (Holly) Bevard, Edwin (Kim) McDonald; three step-sons, Ryan (Cheri) Meredith, Scott (Becki) Meredith, Kenny (Dawn) Meredith; sister, Bonnie (Marvin) Howell; brother, Kent Lindstedt; 16 grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, Bud and Kate Lindstedt; grandparents, John and Minnie Doukus and Alfred and Clara Lindstedt.
Visitation will be held at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel, Gothenburg, Nebraska; Thursday (today), October 25th, 2012, from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel on October 26th, 2012, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Larry Viter officiating.
